                                                           ENGLISH CORNER


     1- Catch up       :  To move faster in order to reach the same level or place as people .
                              : After missing two weeks of class, Ruth is studying hard so that she can catch up.
   
     2- Hook....up    : The fact that you connect one electronic device to another, you hook it up.
                              : I have just hooked a new sound system up to my computer. I can make a party.


    3- Fill in             : When you do someone´s job on a temporary basis, you fill in for him or her.
                              : The regular English teacher is ill, so Perla Luciano is filling in.The students really 
                                like her.

    4- Try..... out      : When you test something to see if you really like it or satisfy, you try it out.
                               : The sales cleck said  I could take the microwave home and tried it out for 15. .
  
     5- Cut......off      : When you stop the supply or the flow of something such as : water, internet, 
                                 or telephone, they cut it off.
                               : Isabelle hasn´t paid the internet bill for 2 months. They just cut it off  !
