1- To pay the price : Suffer the consequences / to experience the bad result of your actions.
Perla stayed up late watching TV last night, and now she has to pay the price.
2- Suit yourself ! : Do what you want to.
You don´t want to come with me. Alright darling. Suit yourself !
Without experience you can´t get a job, and you can´t get a job without
experience.It´s a catch-22.
4- Like a fish out of water : be akward because you are in a situation which you haven´t experienced before.

5- To bite the bullet : To accept something unpleasant without complaining.

Thes small local protests are just the tip of the iceberg.

Sorry I couldn´t join the club last weekend. I had other fish to fry.
