A Farewell Speech

                                             A FAREWELL SPEECH
Paradoxically, While I was leaving the English Immersion building last Thursday( knowing it was my last day there) with my eyes full of tears which I tried to hide not to call attention to, hundreds of teacher applicants were struggling to enter the building smiling at the idea of passing the tests. Some of them are colleagues working elsewhere, others are former students eager to start a new career as teachers.
irst of all, let me start by saying that teaching is a great career. Educating young minds is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world; it´s the only one which makes you happy all your life because you share with others the jewelry from your most valuable treasure ever !
To tell the truth, I don´t regret anything of that short period of time I have been working as a teacher at EIP : Seven years of good experiences, joy,and happiness. Nothing to complain about. Well, as you know, for everything there is a season. Time has come to say good bye . My regards to all my friends and colleagues.
My determination is still to keep helping more people eager to learn English as a foreign language regardless of the color of their skins, ages, ethnic groups, religions, nationalities or political orientations.
I have a lot to be thankful for. I will always be grateful to Ms Elen for granting me the opportunity to grow and to develop my skills in such a workplace where teachers become educators.
