ENHANCE YOUR CAREER PROSPECT

                             ENHANCE YOUR CAREER PROSPECT

There is unanimity among scientists today that students who have studied a foreign language develop  greater cognitive skills in critical thinking, mental flexibility, lateral thinking, and creativity. Such skills can be a valuable asset which will enhance your career opportunities in a competitive world where companies are in quest of people who are fluent in foreign languages such as French, Spanish, and English.

Firstly, the development of a second language skills such as English can nowadays foster better communication in  international business world and lessen frequent  misunderstandings that often occur in the international trade  among business people of different cultures.

Secondly, since English is now the lingua-franca of the business people all over the world, it goes without saying that the success of many enterprises depend on efficient bilingual employees to meet the increasing needs of skilled labor and qualified personel who can communicate well in English, travel on business, and represent effectively the companies overseas.

All in all, students who are commited to acquire English as a second language today make great sacrifice, but I believe it is worth it. Learning English can enrich their ability to communicate with people, open their view broader to other cultures, and be more competitive in a global economy.
