Nepotism
Nepotism
One of the most common pratices in a workplace today is nepotism. In fact, it is a very touchy subject which people tend to avoid mentioning by trying not to offend or getting into trouble whether in the private enterprises or in the public offices. Nepotism by definition is known as the practice of unfairly giving the best jobs to members of your family when you are in position of power. Therefore, it is morally incorrect or unacceptable. It is also repulsive by the fact of all the prejudices this attitude could generate.
Needless to say that nepotism is contrary to all ethical principles no matter where you live on this planet. No matter who you might be, you feel ashamed to promote such a vilainous practice which brings dishonor on your profession, family, and your political party.
In conclusion, nepotism should be stopped before it is too late in any kind of society or political system.
While some people are subtly taking advantages of nepotism, some drastic measures must be taken to stop it by voting laws and then enforce them against all those who give free rein to nepotism whether in private companies or governmental offices.
